Please note:  Our DVD's are produced in NTSC format, the standard for North America, Canada, Mexico and Japan. The other main television broadcast standard, PAL, is the format for Europe, Hong Kong, the Middle East and the Pacific Islands. The systems project color images at different frequencies and they are not compatible with each other.

DVD's must match the NTSC television standard in order to have proper color display. If a TV is PAL only, it will display NTSC pictures in black and white, and vice versa. This problem can be easily solved by adjusting your DVD player to match the system or by changing the default system to auto so that it will switch to the right system automatically.
